I would just like to start discussion on bats. I have also hear rumors that ASA will be changing how they rate composite bats? Anyone else heard this? Links would be great.

My daughters have had 2006 Synergy and 2007 Stealth. Both seam to be good bats. Stealth may be slightly hotter with introduction of flex handle.

The testing has to do with composite bats becoming "hotter" with use. Before, they were tested before the break-in process. Now, they will be tested after a short break-in process to make sure that the bats are safe after the carbon fibers have been broken in.

As far as the bats go, the two bats that our team uses and I see used the most are the Rocketech and the Catalyst. The Rocketech is the best bat that I have ever been around.

my daughter uses 09 techzilla, it is a hot bat. we are getting the techzilla fp in this week. it is supposed to be the hottest bat out. i will know more about it this week

everyone the new techzilla fp is got alot of pop. best bat i have seen from anderson.

yall need to learn what a real bat is the combat fp virsus is the hottest fastpitch bat ever if you ever swing one you wont swing anything else!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dont ever see any combats around, they cant be too hot or somebody would have one.

well i dont know where or who you play with but combats are out there and your not winning if your not swinging them the are alot hotter than any other bat. the combat lady virsus was so hot they outlawed it. they are quicker broken in than any of the other composites

We had one and used it (well one player mainly) most of one season but the bat just didnt seem to break in and didnt perform like the anderson tech or easton synergy. we sold it and will not get another one.

If it is outlawed we cant use it anyway so it doesnt make much difference.

the virsus fp is not outlawed and it is alot hotter than any other bat the rocket tech is close though those are best two fp bats

Just purchased a Combat Lisa Fernandez Lite for my daughter. Will post the results later. She is moving up to 8U pitching machine in fall ball. I figure I couldn't see much difference in bats right now anyway.

My daughter (14 yrs.) has the new 2010 Techzilla this year. She loves it.

Here's another questions.

I'm curious about those that have the Techzillas. How much did it cost you? We paid for ours on a web site (can't remember the name though). It was $300, but it came with a ball/bat bag with the Anderson name on it, and on the handle says "Go Deep, go waayyyy deep". It's a nice, big bag and we had her name embroidered on it too. Nice. Before buying it, we called alround Arkansas looking for it. Many, many places had never even heard of the name Anderson. We live in Clarksville, and went to Hibbett Sports here. They didn't have one, but would check around for us. It was a while, we heard nothing, so bought the $300 one. Hibbett then called and had one in. It was last years bat and was only $179. Our luch of course.

Two of our girls have the 2010 Easton Stealth. One is -10 (White) and the other is -9 (black) and they both love it and a couple of our other girls swing their bats and all of them love to hit with them. Also one of our girls have the 2010 DeMarini CF4 and it is very hot as well and she loves it as well. Can't go wrong with either in my opinion.
