We will have the following divisions:
6U instructional:
Winners of the 6U instructional will receive a Worth Low profile helmet and face Mask for each player, 2nd place will receive a Worth Zephyr Bat and medals, 3rd place will get a team trophy and medals.
6U open:
Winners of the 6U open division will receive a Louisville TPS Catalyst CAT1250 fast pitch glove for each player. This glove is new and I cannot find it on their web page, 2nd place will receive a Worth Zephyr Bat and medals, 3rd place will get a team trophy and medals.

8U, 10UMP,10ULP,12U and 14U:
These divisions will play a double elimination bracket with a drop down bracket as well.
In the drop down we will trophy 1st and 2nd place.
In the open division the winners will receive a Louisville TPS Catalyst CAT1250 fast pitch glove for each player. 2nd place will receive either a Louisville Slugger Xeno or a Catalyst bat with their new S1iD Technology. This bat has not been released yet and medals. The release date on the bat will be May 1st. 3rd place will get a team trophy and medals.

Sounds like a lot of stuff to give away for doing well in this tournament. Looks like this is a tournaments that really believe that the girls are the most important thing about a tournament. That is always a good thing!

Ok the tourn has now filled Tyndall Park and we will also be using Bernard Holland in Benton as well. We will close signups on Monday morning so that brackets can be drawn and posted. We currently have 52 teams.
If you are a 10U machine pitch team this is a good oppertunity for your kids, that group will also get the same prizes as the other open divisions,
6U please remember that we will have 2 divisions on 6U, the open will get the gloves and a bat and the instructional will get helmets with facemask and bat.

We are close to being full, still have plenty of room for 8, 10mp and 6U. I will shut down registration Monday morning and will start drawing brackets then.

We are full. We have 70 teams signed up. Brackets and field schedules are about 70% complete. We will not be adding or dropping any teams from this point forward.
I appreciate everyone playing and I will see you this weekend. If everything goes as planned brackets will be on the ASA site by tomorrow.

What will happen if the tournament rains out?

I want to thank everyone that is signed up to play.
We cannot control the weather, but this is what we have done to get ready.
We have open field positions on Sunday morning for at least 50 games prior to the Scheduled Sunday games.
We have 2000lbs of field dry on hand right now. The City of Benton will also have people available to help prepar the fields, and the last plan is we have the fields reserved for next weekend as well. So maybe a little prayer will help more than anything.

All 12U and 10U m/p games will be held at Bernard Holland Park in Benton.

Its all about the girls, right Walker?

The weather forcast is not looking good for this weekend. I would not think it is right to make a team pay an entry fee for dropping out considering the weather. Why not cancel this weekend and whomever can come back next weekend and start a new bracket. The out of town teams don't want to come in on Sunday and then be tied to come back next weekend also.
